Finding Cable Internet in Rural Areas

The Internet first came into residential homes in the early 90′s. Back then, the only type of connection available was through a dial up modem. It was loud and slow, but it let us view millions of websites and chat with people from around the world. There would be many times when you would be deep into a conversation in a chat room and someone in your home would want to use the phone. Because your computer uses the phone line to connect to the Internet, you would have to disconnect in order to use the phone. Another disadvantage of dial up is the fact that it takes forever to download anything larger than a few megabytes.

GPS Cell Phone Tracking Offers Many Great Options for Consumers

These days it seems like you can do just about everything with your phone from browsing the internet, watching movies, listening to music, to using software. One of the newer features for many cell phones is GPS tracking. GPS tracking will allow others to pinpoint your location using satellite tracking. This is the same kind of method used in GPS navigation systems for cars.

Some phones come with an actual feature to track a phone via GPS. For others, you will have to install a software program that is compatible with your phone and connect it to a third party company that will offer you the service for a fee.
